~ Registration

Please, read carefully the following guidelines before proceeding with the registration.

Registration for CBMI 2008 will be through QMUL on-line registration system. Credit card payments are accepted. Supported card types are Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Delta, MasterCard, Solo and Maestro. Please note that all the payments and refunds are calculated in British Pounds.

An on-site registration option is also available for late registrants.

Registration Packages

The are two registration packages available:

Package 1: Day delegate package which includes
  • attandance to all the oral and poster sessions;
  • electronic version of CBMI2008 proceedings (USB drive);
  • delegate bag;
  • reception event;
  • mid-morning and mid/afternoon coffee breaks;
  • fork buffet lunches with soft drinks;
  • conference dinner;
  • social event.
Package 2: Residential delegate package which includes
  • day delegate package;
  • in-campus accommodation and breakfast (3 nights)

Read more about the college accommodation options. The package 2 availability will be subject to vacancy of rooms, that will be allocated on a first come - first served basis.

*: a flexible option for the number of nights is provided, in which case the registration fee will vary on the base of £40 per night.

IEEE and IET members are entitled to the "Member" rate, in which case the appropriate membership number has to be provided.

Authors registration requirements

For each accepted paper to appear in the conference proceedings and to minimize the number of "no shows", at least one of the authors should be registered at non-student rate by the 25th of April. Papers not satisfying this requirement will be removed from the conference program and will not be included in the conference proceedings.

Cancellation policies

The deadline for registration cancellation is the 20th of May. Cancellations received before the deadline will incur in a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the paid fees. After this deadline, no refund can be made on any cancellation.

Visas information

Attendants from certain coutries may need a visa in order to enter the UK (http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/ for more information on your specific case). In case you are an author of an accepted paper and you require a visa, the conference organisers will be happy to issue an invitation letter. If needed, please send an e-mail to Giuseppe Passino quoting your title (Mr, Mrs, Dr, etc.), first name, family name, country and affiliation (Organization / University name).
